The Saint Paul Classic is a showcase for the handsome parks and parkways of Saint Paul. The attraction for many riders is the ability to ride with a minimal amount of traffic. Rest stops are spaced evenly throughout the course to provide beautiful views, hot coffee, cool beverages, tasty treats, live music and more! In 2013, riders ranging in age from zero to 95 enjoyed the Classic. Don't miss this 20th annual family-friendly Saint Paul tradition!
2014 will bring you "The Classic Classic" with two routes: the 15-mile Summit Avenue Loop and the 30-mile Saint Paul Grand Round. Strong riders that start early could do both routes for a 45-mile day. Ten miles of this route are a repeat ride along Mississippi River Boulevard and Shepard Road.
CLASSIC MUSIC THAT MOVES YOU! We've lined up some great entertainment this year including The Eddies, The Show'd Up Band, Nikki and the RueMates, Jack Klatt and Patrick Harison, The HIGH 48s, and the Roe Family Singers.
Produced by the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota (BikeMN)
The Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour is an annual event produced by and benefiting the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota (BikeMN). Proceeds from the event fund BikeMN's education programs. In 2013, BikeMN's volunteer cycling instructors reached more than 5,000 kids and adults with safe cycling messages and we hope to double that number this year. Thank you to everyone for your support of the Classic and BikeMN. Together we will do great things for cycling in Minnesota!
