Choose from several route options!Main Course MapLilydale Loop- The 15-mile route
leaves St. Thomas and follows the river past Crosby Farm toward
downtown, turns at the Science Museum, and heads up the steep incline
of Ramsey Hill (most riders walk up this short hill and enjoy the rest
stop at the top) before heading back along Summit Avenue to St. Thomas.
- The 24-mile option with Lilydale Loop will go past the
Science Museum about a quarter mile and turn left. Riders will climb
the bluff, cross the Wabasha Bridge and bike through lovely Lilydale
Regional Park. Take a break at the Pickerel Lake rest stop before
climbing the bluff again and crossing the river, returning to the main
route on Shepard Road.
- The 30-mile route follows the river before making a long climb up to a
magnificent panorama at the Indian Mounds Park rest stop. From here,
the mostly level route (just two additional climbs) follows Saint
Paul's pleasing parkways to Lake Phalen and Como Lake (enjoy the
lakeside rest stop!) before returning to St. Thomas.
- The 39-mile option with Lilydale Loop will go past the Science
Museum about a quarter mile and turn left. Riders will climb the bluff,
cross the Wabasha Bridge and bike through lovely Lilydale Regional
Park. Take a break at the Pickerel Lake rest stop before climbing the
bluff again and crossing the river, returning to the main route on
Shepard Road.
The Classic has the best rest stops in the business. Beautiful views,
great live music, and refreshments to match. Enjoy delicious baked
